Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of amig0 ("Service"), operated by OCTech Services. By using amig0, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

amig0 provides:

Traveler Hacks — local travel intelligence
Deals — exclusive offers at verified local venues for members
Bookable Services — connecting travelers with vetted local service providers (photo booths, bartenders, transport, and more)

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Membership and Subscriptions

Access to deals requires an active membership subscription at $3.99/month. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. A 7-day free trial is available for new members. No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods.

4. Service Bookings

A $35 non-refundable booking fee is charged at the time of booking to secure your reservation
The remaining balance for your selected package is due directly to the service provider at or before the event
Bookings connect you with independent service providers. amig0 facilitates the booking but is not the service provider
Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to each provider's individual policy, communicated via WhatsApp after booking

5. Deal Redemptions

Deals are available to active members only. Each deal may be redeemed once per 30-day period per venue. Deals are subject to change or withdrawal by the venue at any time. amig0 is not responsible for deal availability at the time of your visit.

6. Service Providers

Service providers listed on amig0 are independent contractors, not employees of OCTech Services. amig0 vets providers but does not guarantee service quality. Disputes with providers should be resolved directly with the provider. amig0 is not liable for the actions or omissions of independent service providers.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not:

Share your account credentials or deal access with others
Attempt to circumvent rate limiting, PIN verification, or access controls
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Reverse engineer or scrape any part of the platform

8. Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. amig0 does not store payment card information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OCTech Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of amig0 or any services booked through the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to amig0 in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

amig0 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service or that deals and services will always be available.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of amig0 after changes constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
